Latanoprost no script

A man comes in with an empty bottle of latanoprost eye drops which he got from overseas.

Man: "Do you have this?"
Me: "Yes we do. But you need a prescription from the doctor first."
Man: "I can't. I'm booked in for an appointment to see him in 3 weeks. I got no more eye drops left."
Me: "Ok. Well, then you have to ask the receptionist to see him earlier because you got no eye drops left."
Man: "You know the specialist down the road?"
Me: "Yes?"
Man: "Yeh the thing is, I'm seeing him in 3 weeks. I need it urgently."
Me: "Ok then the other thing you can do is get a script from your family doctor."
Man: "Ok where's that?"
Me: "I don't know. Where ever your family doctor is."
Man: "Yeh he's up the road too. What should i do?"
Me: "Ok. What you need to do is, go there and see your family doctor and tell him you need these eye drops urgently and you cant see the specialist for another 3 weeks and tell him to write you a script so you can get it."
Man: Oh. So I must get a script form the doctor? You can't just give me? Please......"
Me: "Yes a script from the doctor is the only way."

Why do I find myself repeating over and over again? And how am I suppose to know where or who your family doctor is?
