Discount for discounted products

An Asian couple walks into the pharmacy asking if I can give them Macu-Vision for $30 (normal retail RRP is $34.95). Explained to them the prices are set. So when I walked over to the vitamins section, Blackmores is having a sale on and Macu-Vision is on special for $27.95. I thought that the customer would be happy instead you know what they said: "I'm going to buy 4 bottles. Give my a discount!"

Me:"I can't its already discounted, no further discount on sale items."

Them: "4 bottles, we both Chinese, you don't tell, I won't tell, noone will know. How about $27? $27 ok? yeh?"

Me: "Sorry I can't. You want four bottles. I can get you 4 bottles (i get a basket and put 4 bottles in there). Pay at the front counter thanks."

------------

Greedy Asians. You come into the store determined to get it for $30 and a miracle happens and its on sale for less than the price you were willing to pay for yet you still ask for more discount? The mindset is, they are greedy and they want to be special and they want to be special than other ppl, so they want a 'special' price. And this is no Paddy's market either. We're a franchised chemist and we don't bargain with customers either.
